This is true, however I personally feel that most of the candidates do support full marriage rights, they just can’t voice their own views due to the ignorance of society. when they talk of civil unions, its much safer.
As a gay man, I like what Edwards stands for, because I’m looking beyond just gay issues. I feel if a candidate can meet us half way, that’s fine.
You’re never going to get a someone openly supporting gay marraige, because they have no chance of winning on that platform. That’s why Kucinich and Gravel can talk about it. They have no chance, so what does it matter. I think Gravel is a psycho anyway.
