Gays for Guiliani
August 11, 2007
You gotta love a gay with a video camera and the gumption to make a political ad like Gays for Guiliani. Hilarious. We definitely need more fun and creative videos that take on the Republicans and their particular brand of divide and conquer politics. Somebody needs to give Ryan a big wad of cash to make more.
From Gays for Guiliani:
Rudy has turned his back on the community that he supported and that supported him. But fear not, ‘Gays For Giuliani’ is here to remind Rudy what he really believes in. We’d like to educate Republican primary voters about the Rudy that we know and love by pointing to his actual, impressive and progressive record.

Bloggernista,
Listen friend, I’m still trying to wrap my peabrain around the concept of gay Republicans and the organization called, the Log Cabin Republicans.
For me, they’re right up there alongside jewish Nazis and black klansmen. Have you seen comic Dave Chappell’s bit where he portrays a black klansman? It’s a fucking riot!

I have met a few LCRers and I am not totally sure what makes them tick. I do have respect for former LCR leader Patrick Guerriero who is now head of Gill Action Fund. Gill Action is doing some interesting stuff. I can’t say that I hear or know much about what LCR is up to these days.
