David Beckham Scores First Goal

David Beckham scored his first goal as a member of the L.A. Galaxy yesterday as the Galaxy beat D.C United 2-0. Beckham has been plagued with an injured left ankle that has kept in on the bench for most of his time in America. A few weeks ago the Galaxy played the United here in D.C., but Beckham managed to only play as a substitute for about ten minutes. He did take off his shirt to expose his bare chest which drove the sold out crowd nuts.
